Brian, I'm pretty sure it was the home directory change that confused
things. Did you used to not use automount and now you do? (It may
also be that admin has been slipping in some use of automount; the
/tmp_mnt mount point is used by automount.)
I thought that as long as .sandboxrc and rc_files/shared's sandbox_base
both pointed to the sandbox (even if they're different and get there
via links) then things would be clean, though if any of this changes I'd
bet an exit from workon and new workon is called for.
As long as you are in or anywhere below ./src of the sandbox, you're ok.
Anyway, it looks like thinks are ok now.

Thanks. I was in a workon, but was not in ./src. Does
that matter?
Plus, my usual home directory seemed screwed up:
I'm ususally /usr/staff/guests/keane, and today
I was /tmp_mnt/abyss/keane. This forced me to edit
my .sandboxrc and rc_files/shared before I could get workon
to work.
Brian
