I'm having problems with the path that ode is setting up for me.

I'm backed against agosmaint and whenever I try to do a build, the
system make is getting picked up:

workon 3> build
relative path: ./usr/ccs/bin/uopt.
make: illegal option -- c
usage: make [-eiknqrst] [-D variable] [-d flags] [-f makefile ]
        [-I directory] [-j max_jobs] [variable=value]

Any ideas?

Ken, are you still having this problem?  It is probably the case that
you don't have agosmaint.nightly mounted, which is supplying tools for
the submit tree (via a symlink).  If you "odemount agosmaint" you will
get this .nightly tree automatically:

# /usr/sde/odemount -v agosmaint
agosmaint: silver maintenance base submit (DEC1.3)
The following file system /usr/sde/disks/submits is already mounted
:
agosmaint: silver maint submit backing (alpha.bl012)
The following file system /usr/sde/disks/alpha.dsk5 is already mounted
:
agosmaint: silver maint submit tools/export (.nightly)
The following file system /usr/sde/disks/agos.dsk1 is already mounted
