Hello
I am having a problem getting a sandbox backed to v13supportx. I am
on bluhil and a segment of 'odemount -list' shows ...
Mounted v13supportx: silver x11 maint support submits (DEC1.3 patch)
Unmounted v13supportx: agxmaint.bl6 (backing v13supportx)
When I try to 'masb -back v13supportx ...' I get the following error
bluhil:> mksb -back v13supportx -dir /work/sb/sja v13support
>> WARNING in mksb:
>> could not get project directory or default build.
>> WARNING in mksb:
>> v13supportx is not a legal, accessible sandbox.
>> Will prompt for this information.
No known current builds to pick from.
Enter absolute path to backing tree or name from build list:
I assume this is caused by the confusion over which v13supportx to use.
How do I specify the mounted version, or get rid of the unmounted build
Thanks
Steve Albrecht

It appears that the backingtree which backs v13supportx agxmaint.bl6]
is not mounted. I believe if you do another "odemount v13supportx" and
then try the mksb you'll be all set.

Hi,
Do you know if Locus is still doing
development using ode for Digital?
And if so, about how many engineers
are doing development, and in what manner,
i.e. do they just do builds, or do bco, bci, ...
thanks,
tina

Hi Tina;
Do not know how many engineers they have that are using
ode. However they do sup certain pools & nightlys and have bco and
bci capability. Primarly they are doing the out the box
application maintenance.

Barry

This worked fine about 30 minutes ago, now when I
try to build in a sandbox backed against v32supportos.nightly
I get
bernie> build
relative path: ./usr/sbin/esnmpd.
make: illegal option -- c
usage: make [-eiknqrst] [-D variable] [-d flags] [-f makefile ]
[-I directory] [-j max_jobs] [variable=value]
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

You're picking up the wrong make. Make sure the backing tree is mounted and
you can see
v32supportos.nightly/tools/alpha_OSF1/alpha/hostbin/make
from your sandbox. If so, make sure that `sbinfo PATH` has this location in
it.
