There's a bug when a sdml file and a figure file have the same name. DVC$PS

    The output file is ALSO named FIG_01.POST, and it is created shortly
    after the device converter starts.  Therefore, you have told the
    program to read as figure-file input the same file it has created
    as output (FIG_01.POST), and RMS (or somebody) won't let it re-open
    an open file (thank goodness!).
    
    So the conflict occurs because the figure file and OUTPUT FILE have
    the same name, including the extension.
