When a DOCUMENT VT1.0 user here tried to output an interoffice
memorandum on the Postscript printer, the output had a left
margin that appeared to be twice as wide as it normally should
be. (In other words, the text is pushed over too far toward
the right.)
Is there a switch that should remedy this? Has anyone else
had a similar experience?
Thank you,
Rickey

| 839.1 | Try DOC/DEV=(...) | WRONGO::PARMENTER | What decade was this? | Fri Aug 21 1987 14:54 | 15 |
If you wish to change your placement on the page, you can say the
following for all three device-converters:
$ DOC ... /DEVICE=(HORIZONTAL=XXX,VERTICAL=YYY)
where XXX and YYY represent the amount of offset requested. By
default, you get 72 points of each, so to move your page 1/2 inch
to the left, type:
$ DOC .../DEV=(HORIZ=36)
I do not know why your particular file seems wrong, but this may
help.

| 839.2 | T1.0 had problems | CLOSET::ANKLAM | Fri Aug 21 1987 15:06 | 7 | |
If you are indeed on T1.0 as opposed to V1.0, this problem is
addressed in NOTE 39. See especially 39.4 for a description of
the fix. The problem was corrected In T1.1.
