How are page numbers passed to the table of contents? For a local design, I changed the page numbers from chapter-oriented to sequential. This design has numbered headings and chapter-oriented tables and figures. The page numbers come out correctly within chapters, but in the table of contents they are still chapter-oriented. I can't find anything in the .design file that specifies the format for page numbers.

Never mind, I found the answer to my question in the MILSPEC .design and .gdx files. I used \newif\ifnumberbychapter \numberbychapterfalse etc. from the chapter macro in the .design file and the <string>(_numberbychapter\FALSE) from the .gdx file. (At least I assume it's in the .gdx file -- I worked backwards from the .stt file.) | |||||
