736.1 | "I don't think there's anyone back there!" | NCADC1::PEREZ | The sensitivity of a dung beetle. | Thu Aug 06 1987 21:46 | 8 |
| Hello? Anyone out there? PICMODE is still attacking my page.
Seriously, since this document has to be delivered to a customer
(yeah, one of those people with the MONEY) I really would like to
find out how to not have unsightly empty page bottoms.
thanks,
D

| I have created such a document using many "includes" and have not
experienced this problem. For your info. I use REPORT with the figure
include coded:
<figure>
<figure_attributes>(keep\wide)
<include_tex_file>(picture.tex)
<endfigure>

Hope you didn't miss your deadline...remember that no one here uses
PICMODE (though we've promised to look at it for future use). If
you haven't solved your problem, we will need to look at the files.

736.4 | When the going gets tough, I go on vacation...like last week! | NCADC1::PEREZ | The sensitivity of a dung beetle. | Mon Aug 10 1987 23:22 | 11 |
| Well, so far we sort of skidded on the deadlines by giving the customer
a "DRAFT" copy of some chapters for 20 or 30 of their favorite
employees to look at.
I'll make sure I have the document set up like the information in
.2 and try it again. Could it be that some kind of interaction
between the PICMODE, text paragraph, and the table right behind
are causing a problem? I'll keep fiddling with it and maybe something
will jump up and bite me.
