718.0. "Omitted <LANGUAGE> support lines...." by IJSAPL::KLERK (Theo de Klerk) Tue Jul 28 1987 10:37

This note and possible replies indicate omissions in the current
internationalization (what a word) of Document output. There are
still some hard-coded texts that I'd like to see moved into a
 defined \symbol.

Here goes: Modify CUP$LOCAL_ELEMENTS.TEX to define texts
"Printed in USA" / "Copyright (c) 1987 by Digital Equipment Co"
"The following are trademarks of Digital Equipment Co"
        "All rights reserved"

I'm still searching for the "damned" command that outputs "July 1987"
on the first line of the copyright page. That too should be made
 local language!!!

Thanks, Theo. We'll add these to the items already on our list, and they'll
be rectified. As I mentioned in a previous note, we're working closely with
the IPG to identify all such outstanding issues, so your input is not falling
on deaf ears.
