703.0. "BIGJINETE Font Error" by CRVAX1::SHEPPARD () Thu Jul 23 1987 13:52

    I'm having a problem processing a DOCUMENT file under BL8 that processed
    successfully under BL7. The file assembles a large document with
    <include> files. I will provide the associated files, if needed.
    This is the DOCUMENT command I used:

    $ DOC/NOPRINT/CONT/INDEX/LOG 3DTRANS LAYERED LN03

    Here's the error log:

    [ T e x t  F o r m a t t i n g ]...
    %TEX-I-IDENT, V1.0
    %RMS-E-FNF, file not found
    -SYSTEM-W-NOSUCHFILE, no such file
    -TEX-I-FILENAME, 'DOC$ROOT:[TEX.LN03.FONTS]BIGJINETE.TFM;'
    %TEX-W-FONTERROR, Error occurred in the following font:
    -TEX-I-FILENAME, 'bigjinete'
    -TEX-W-FONTTYPE, Font was declared by: '\bifreversenumbers'
    -TEX-I-SCALED, Font was scaled: 1000
    %TEX-I-SHOWCONTEXT, '
    %TEX-I-LINE, Error occurred on or around line number: 997
    %TEX-I-SHOWCONTEXT, '\let'
    %TEX-I-SHOWCONTEXT, '    \sixteenrev=\bigreversenumbers'
    %TEX-I-FILENAME, \tex$standard_fonts'
    -TEX-I-ONPAGE, on page [1]

    Help!!!  Thanks,
              Jane

    This looks like V1.0, without the internal kit. Is that possible?

703.2Yep, the kit was installed...CRVAX1::SHEPPARDThu Jul 23 1987 16:177

    I spoke with our system manager. The Internal Kit was installed
    on our system...the problem lives on...

703.3When did you install?CLOSET::ADLERThu Jul 23 1987 16:516
When was the kit installed? Some folks somehow pulled over earlier intermediate
versions of our kits prior to our announcement yesterday afternoon of the
availability of the final kits. Unless your DOCUMENT system was installed
since 5PM yesterday, I suspect that that's the problem.
