Hi, We have bl8 installed on our system, and want to create a Master Index. The DOCT10_UPDATE file says "Master Index works..." Does this mean it works in bl8, keeping the update info (/KEEP/INDEX/MASTER_INDEX) in mind? A little confused, Fern

It works. Just remember that DOCUMENT looks for index entries that contain the MASTER keyword to generate a master index. You can include all entries (local and master) using the OVERRIDE_MASTER keyword with the /INDEX qualifier See note 448.

Hi, I read note 448 and didn't see any explanation of the OVERRIDE_MASTER keyword. Can you point me to the location in the documentation where I might find an explanation and example of how to use this keyword? Thanks, Fern

See Appendix A in the User's Guide Part I for a description of the command line interface and, in particular, the /INDEX qualifier. |
