Expanding a REVISION token in LSE yields the following: <REVISION>[update-info] {revision-tags}... The second line set me off to the User Manual. It turns out that the required placeholder is indeed very optional. The line can be deleted without problem. Does the appearance of <REVISION> require that a <MARK> or <UPDATE_RANGE> block appear later in the document? -- Ward
