Is there some way we can be notified when a DOCUMENT print job is done ?

any qualifier that you can give on the DCL PRINT command can be
supplied via the DOCUMENT command line using the /PRINT qualifier.
Try $ DOCUMENT/PRINT=NOTIFY ...

The next time Document is installed on your system, such as when V1.0
is brought up, you can ask your system manager to add /notify as one of
the defaults for each of the supported devices.
(Notice that I didn't urge anyone to edit doc$destinations.dat.)
