Is there some way we can be notified when a DOCUMENT print job is done ? /Phil
T.R | Title | User | Personal Name | Date | Lines |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
626.1 | $ DOCUMENT /PRINT=(NOTIFY) | VAXUUM::DEVRIES | M.D. -- your Device Doctor | Thu Jul 09 1987 14:47 | 0 |
626.2 | use the /PRINT qualifier | VAXUUM::KOHLBRENNER | Thu Jul 09 1987 14:48 | 6 | |
any qualifier that you can give on the DCL PRINT command can be supplied via the DOCUMENT command line using the /PRINT qualifier. Try $ DOCUMENT/PRINT=NOTIFY ... bill | |||||
626.3 | Putting it on automatic | CUPOLA::HAKKARAINEN | This too shall pass | Thu Jul 09 1987 15:09 | 5 |
The next time Document is installed on your system, such as when V1.0 is brought up, you can ask your system manager to add /notify as one of the defaults for each of the supported devices. (Notice that I didn't urge anyone to edit doc$destinations.dat.) |
