621.0. "COMPOSE CHARACTERS PROBLEM" by HLDG01::PELLEMANS (Peter, ADG Utrecht) Thu Jul 09 1987 10:09
I found a problem using compose characters.
In a document with document type Software Specifications I use
the name Ren several times. Most of the times, the name is printed
allright with the accent on the last e, but when it is used in
a table, the last character is not printed at all: Ren.
Also when using emphasis(Ren\Italic) it only prints Ren.
I tried the same document with s.r. Then the table will print
the name allright, but the emphasis is still incorrect.
I use LN01. Is there anything I can do about this ? Besides using
a different document type.

I am using BL8.

The problem is the LN01. The multinational characters are not supported
in all the fonts and sizes. This is a permanent restriction, as
there are no plans to provide full LN01 support.
