    When I used the MAIL destination with /PAPER=A4, the resulting
    memo is NOT using the full heigth of the page (style is letter).
    
    Only about 40 lines are used...

This has been a big complaint about MAIL and TERMINAL output for all 
doctypes, mentioned in earlier notes.  Neither horizontal or vertical 
spacing are used optimally.  

There are other problems, too. S.S, for example, is offset on the
screen, requiring you to set screen width to 132 before you can easily
read it. 

I think there was a promise that this would be fixed.  Did the fix make 
it for V1.0?

    /PAPER=A4 will only work if the DESIGN files in use test for whether
    it was specified and adjust the page dimensions appropriately. Alas,
    there was a bug in the way we passed this information through to
    the DESIGN files in BL8. We didn't do any work in the standard DESIGN
    files. 
    
    I have some input from Peter Zgraggen on page dimensions which I
    need to test in BL9 (i.e. V1.0).
