609.0. "TeX capacity exceeded??" by STKHLM::LITBY (Can't you bloody read?) Wed Jul 08 1987 04:58

What should I do about this? TeX seems not to be able to handle more than
6 input files simultaneously...

609.1what DESIGN?CLOSET::ANKLAMWed Jul 08 1987 12:337

    That looks more like a DESIGN file problem than anything else. What
    DESIGN is it? (There is a problem using a local design based on
    LAYERED, which is already a local -- internal -- design, but that
    can be easily worked around.)

	Sorry - that was omitted. He's using software.reference.

609.3No <include_tex_file> tagsSTKHLM::NIBLAEUSPer-Ola Niblus, @SOO, StockholmWed Jul 15 1987 05:009
    I am the victim of the problem discussed here. I was asked whether
    there were any <include_tex_file> tags in any of the file, and the
    answer is NO. To me, the profile looks like a very simple example
    of a book. Even if I took away some of the elements, the same error
    occurred.

    Do you define DOC$LOCAL_ELEMENTS and does it contain some \input
    commands?
