The documentation and LSE for BL8 give a user the idea that he can specify text in the argument to the <ENDTITLE_PAGE> tag that text will appear at the bottom of the title page. This is not correct, my guess is that this is only valid in certain doctypes, but which? Or is it not yet implemented? Peter

Peter is correct; there is an inconsistency in the doctypes as to the handling of an argument on <endtitlepage>. Only the following designs will print the argument a user specifies on the bottom of the page: REPORT, REPORT.TWOCOL, and MILSPEC. In all the other doctypes, the standard version of DOCUMENT prints nothing; internal users who reference CUP$LOCAL_ELEMENTS.TEX will get 'digital equipment corporation . maynard, massachusetts' -pa |
