545.1 | a BL7 bug, I assume | CLOSET::ANKLAM | Mon Jun 22 1987 19:30 | 9
I would like to see the sources; note we had infinite loops in BL7 with respect to <figure> tags that specified text or examples that did not fit on the page. It would certainly help if you could localize the problem. patti
545.2 | figure bug from doc$convert... bingo! | DELNI::COLELLO | Tue Jun 23 1987 13:22 | 12
thanks Patti. It was the figure bug. <figure> <figure_attributes>(\nofloat) and a <figure_attributes>(\wide\nofloat) I changed them to <figure_attributes>(keep) and <figure_attributes>(keep\wide) do you want me to delete the note since I stupidly put in the WHOLE file that is huge? Or can I even delete it? Can you?
545.3 | The author can delete his/her note | COOKIE::JOHNSTON | Tue Jun 23 1987 15:06 | 22
I don't know if Patti wants you to delete or truncate that long note, but I've entered notes that I later wanted to delete or edit. The author of a note can delete it with this command at the NOTES> prompt: NOTES> DELETE NOTE note-id For example: NOTES> DELETE NOTE 21.3 If you want to save some or all of the note for your own purposes, or to simply edit it and reenter it into the notes file, you can EXTRACT the note: NOTES> EXTRACT output-file [note-id] Type HELP for more information.
