524.0. "Outline in Docplan" by MARTY::FRIEDMAN () Thu Jun 18 1987 15:45

    Someone mentioned to me that the <outline> tags don't work in the
    DOCPLAN doctype anymore. If so, can it be put back in? Most docplans
    here include outlines of the book(s) they describe.

524.1No problem hereDSSDEV::EPPESDignity, always dignityFri Jun 19 1987 17:055
    The <outline> tags work fine in the DOCPLAN doctype here, at least
    on my cluster (both BL07 and BL08). Dunno why they wouldn't work
    for you...

524.2Outline gone from LSEDITDECWET::CUSTERFri Jun 19 1987 17:238
    The <OUTLINE> tags work fine for us using the DOCPLAN doctype, but
    the outline template no longer appears in the list of LSE templates
    when first entering LSE. Perhaps that's what you're referring to?

    p.s. Why did the outline template disappear from LSE?

524.3<OUTLINE> still available in LSEVAXUUM::FARRWed Jun 24 1987 10:5513
    The <OUTLINE> tags can be obtained from the LSE environment
    by typing O (or OU, OUT, etc.) and pressing CTRL-E to expand.
    You'll get the beginning and ending tags, a level placeholder
    and the optional <SHOW_LEVELS> tag that you can delete with
    CTRL-K.

    The menu for the initial placeholder was changed because of
    the following reasoning: since the initial placeholder only
    appears in new files, then the menu choices should be the
    tags or templates used for starting a file (such as a
    chapter tag, appendix tag, front matter, reference template).
