I am looking for a postscript font file for EDUOVER. Has anyone created the EDUOVER.PST file? I don't new at this, and is there a way to use the other postscript font files? We have a LPS40 and would rather not invest in the LN03 fonts. Thanks for the help. Gerry

Gerry, There is no POSTSCRIPT support for EDUOVER right now. For all of the data on an overhead EDUOVER uses standard fonts/descriptions that are part of DOCUMENT. No real problem here... However it uses a small special set of characters to create the topic, subtopic, and sub2topic markers. (Actually five characters in two sizes.) These fonts are distributed with the EDUOVER kit in LN01/LN03 format. The next step is a version in POSTSCRIPT format, and the integration with the rest of VAX DOCUMENT & EDUOVER. I've just finished EDUOVER for BL8 of DOCUMENT. Now that that's done, highest on my priority list (for EDUOVER, that is!) is POSTSCRIPT support, since we too have an LPS40 being installed... Thanks. I will await the new fonts. In the mean time will push for purchasing the LN03 fonts for our cluster. (BTW. We are trying to use this with OUTLINE / DOCUMENT / EDUOVER.) Gerry 8^) |
