I have a <DEFINE_SYMBOL> that has within its definition DOCUMENT
tags.
When I reference these symbols, and look at the hard copy, none
of the tags within this defined symbol had any effect (it's as if
they were ignored).
Surrounding the definition with |xxx& doesn't seem to help.

| You can't include (most) tags within <DEFINE_SYMBOL> definitions.
