Is this BL8 ? If it is, can you send me a .LIS file? Unless I am
missing something, what you have looks fine. You might also check
that the <contents_file> tag doesn't occur within a comment or a
condition?

| I had exactly the same thing after I installed BL8. I haven't tried
since (very busy). I'll try again this afternoon and let you know.

| Are you using the <CONTENTS_FILE> tag without arguments, or are
you supplying the name of the file as an argument in parentheses?
For base level 8, the system should only speak of .DVI_LN03, not
.DVI_LN3.

I looked at the .LIS file for this; there was an error in the
text formatter (a privilege violation on the DOC$LOCAL_ELEMENTS
file). Since there was an error in the text formatter, no contents
file was produced.

This was ultimately resolved offline. The problem was that the
base level is 7, in which the 3-command sequence was necessary to
produce the integrated contents in the LN3 file.
