369.0. "Landscape output?" by ALIEN::BRADFORD (LAPUTA) Wed May 13 1987 10:34
It would be extremely productive if Document allowed the user to
specify a landscape printing mode. As a BL6 user, I don't know
if this has been contemplated for Version 1.0, but as a writer I
know that it would save a lot of artwork.
For example (again, using
BL6 terminology) you could use a figurefile or examplefile function
to bring in a separate file that was built specifying a landscape
output. As things stand now, anytime we need even the simplest
turnpage figure or example, the Art people have to do the whole
thing for us.
I've been told that FT does not support landscape output, so I thought
I'd encourage you to think about it.

We do think about it alot. There's nothing we can do for V1.0, but
it is on various wishlists for the future.
