358.0. "List item bolded too soon " by RDGENG::BALLARD () Fri May 08 1987 06:26

    I created a list of 8 items, and part of each line corresponding

    to a user input were EMBOLDENED using <KEYWORD>.
    However, the first item became emboldened BEFORE the <KEYWORD>
    command on that line (ie the $ was bolded). Purquoi?!!!
    The source is given below :

The NOTES utility contains useful extra information on DOCUMENT, and is
acccessed as follows :
<P>
<LIST>(UNNUMBERED\*)
  <LE>$ <KEYWORD>(NOTES) (to get into Notes)
  <LE>Notes >  <KEYWORD>(ADD ENT CLOSET::DOCUMENT_FT)  (add the entry)
  <LE>Notes > <KEYWORD>(OPEN DOCUMENT_FT) (or just OPEN DOC will do)
  <LE>Notes >  <KEYWORD>(DIR)  (to get a directory of entries)
  <LE>Notes >  <KEYWORD>(DIR 318-1)  (list entries 318 to 1)
  <LE>Notes > <KEYWORD>(WRITE) (to add a note to the Conference Notes)
  <LE>Notes >  <KEYWORD>(CLOSE)  (to close DOCUMENT_FT  - else stays locked)
  <LE>Notes >  <KEYWORD>(EXIT)  (to exit Notes)

358.1$ not really 'bolded'CLOSET::ANKLAMWed May 20 1987 16:596

    Using this input file, and looking at the output, I can see how
    it might appear that the $ is bolded, but it really isn't. The
    $ character all by itself just looks heavier than normal text.
