348.0. "Unnumbered <HEAD> -> TOC in General Doctype?" by PICA::GREENBERG () Wed May 06 1987 13:53

Is there a tag that produces an unnumbered header and places the heading in the
T of C ? I'm using the General doctype, as I also want sequential page
numbering.

Thanks,
Fern

    In GENERAL, <SECTION> should do that, but that always gives a new
    page but that's not what you want. I'll think on it.

    Thanks for looking into it. Any ideas for accomplishing this will
    be appreciated.

    I'd also like to see support of the centered and unnumbered heads.
