295.0. "Lack of Efficiency" by AUTHOR::R_MCGOWAN () Thu Apr 23 1987 09:56
A situation: Yesterday was sort of a typical day at the Mill.
Twenty-eight people were working on AUTHOR, and five people
were compiling their books in batch on AUTHOR. I was one of
those people. After two hours in the batch queue, I get an
error message saying my file can't be compiled because of some
error.
When you sell DOCUMENT, you should put a memory requirement
warning somewhere indicating how people can use it most efficiently
other than by doing something else.
