I am using V1. I have just inherited some Micro-VAX Work Station documentation that I will have to update and revise, and I have been told by the writer who was doing it before (in another group) that I will have to use BL06 to get the appropriate document design. I was wondering (although I haven't done this before) whether I can recreate the Micro doctype and put it in DOC$PERSONAL_FORMATS (or if anyone else has done it and has the appropriate DTP file hanging around), or whether we will have to install BL06 on our system. Also, is there a template of any sort for creating an Update Notice Page? Or have people just winged it? Thanks! Rickey

You might investigate the smaller page formats in the SOFTWARE doctype. I think SOFTWARE.GUIDE is similar to the MICROVMS doctype. Of course, you'll need to convert your 06 files to Version t1.0 first. DOC$CONVERT is available on the internal kit. |
