How do you get a figure or table with only a caption and no number? Seems to me I used to be able to do this by *not* specifying a symbol name. An informal figure around here is defined as one that has only a caption or that has no caption, no number. Rose

No number, no toc: use <subhead1> as a label. Nothing is changed
from bl06; there, the presence of a <figurecap> tag determined
whether a figure was formal or not.
