213.0. "What We Want In A Bibliography" by COOKIE::JOHNSTON () Tue Apr 07 1987 13:22
I first brought this up in the DOCUMENT 06 notes files and Patti A.
asked for more feedback on it from everyone.
The request for footnote enhancements prompts me to bring it up again.
It would be nice if the <BIB_ENTRY> tag could be used anywhere in text,
just like <FOOTNOTE>, however it would not print at the bottom of a page
like footnote. Rather, all <BIB_ENTRY> tags would be saved and printed
at the end of a file within the context of <bibliography> and
<endbibliography>. Perhaps a <bib_ref> tag would be needed as well?
I don't know how difficult this would be. Does anyone else see this as
desirable, or have other ideas on making the making of bibliographies
really easy?
