207.0. "Drawin' lines ..." by CEDEX::BIJAOUI (Surf and Destroy) Tue Apr 07 1987 05:33

    Hi,

    Maybe this question (or sort of) has been asked already, if so,
    please forgive me and point me to the specified note.

    Question:

    Is it possible to draw lines (to seperate text or whatever), simple
    lines with Document ?

    Tnx for your answers,
    Pierre.

    Sorry, we do not currently have the capability for users to draw
    arbitrary rules in a document. The use of rules in text is tied
    to a design for a text element.

    Is there any way for the user to include a "picture" that in turn
    contains "DECVECs" that draw page boarders?

    At this time, these kinds of included graphics are supported:

    	LN03: sixels
    	POSTSCRIPT: PostScript

    So no, it is not possible at present to include LN03 commands in
    a document. (That's in my futures file.)
