The following produces numbers that are not quite aligned the same way in each stack. This is because the stack sizes are different, thus different width braces are used. A mechanism should be provided to specify that the same width braces be used within a column of a table. <P>In the following example, N=3, M=5 and X=8. <ALIGN_CHAR>(#) <table_> <table_ATTRIBUTES>(\WIDE) <table_SETUP>(3\12\12) <table_heads>(Volume<LINE>Set<LINE>Sequence<LINE>Number\Volume<LINE>Set<LINE>Identifier\Volume<LINE>Set Size) <table_ROW>(###1<LINE>###2<LINE>###3\CHESS<LINE>CHESS<LINE>CHESS\ <LIST>(STACKED\braces) <le>###3 <le>###3 <le>###3 <ENDLIST> First N volumes premastered at same time) <table_ROW>(###4<LINE>###5\CHESS<LINE>CHESS\ <LIST>(STACKED\braces) <le>###5 <le>###5 <ENDLIST> Volumes N+1 to M premastered at same time) <table_ROW>(###6<LINE>###7<LINE>###8\CHESS<LINE>CHESS<LINE>CHESS\ <LIST>(STACKED\braces) <le>###8 <le>###8 <le>###8 <ENDLIST> Volumes M+1 to X premastered at same time) <ENDTABLE> <endalign_char>

You can approximate what you want by placing a null <LE> in the middle stack list. This doesn't vertically align the two elements in the center, but the braces will be the same size. |
