Is there any way of deleting the sentance about the postpaid reader's comments from the copyright page? As I am writing a user guide for a bespoke software product for a customer I need to include the copyright page, but as there will be no reader's comment form I need to delete this appropriate sentance. 178.1 | It's in the DTP, I think | FNYFS::WYNFORD | The Rented Loony | Wed Apr 01 1987 08:51 | 7 |
If memory serves... I copied the relevant DTP file and renamed it. Then removed the offending lines and added the new DTP as another doctype in the DOC$DESIGNS.DAT file. Gavin
178.2 | undo \readerscommentpara | CLOSET::ANKLAM | Thu Apr 02 1987 09:46 | 11
it's not in all the DTPs, but it can be overridden there or in a local elements file. If you are getting that paragraph, you must be using DOC$LOCAL_FORMATS:CUP$LOCAL_ELEMENTS.TEX. You can remove the paragraph from there by removing the line \readerscommentpara from the definition of \copyrightline. patti anklam

Thanks very much. I'll have a go and let you know how I get on. Alison |
