123.0. "Can <MARK> take arguments?" by COOKIE::JOHNSTON () Wed Mar 18 1987 15:12
Is it possible to give <MARK> an argument, so that the change symbol
could be bars, asterisks, numbers, whatever?
Jim Melton, the DSRI Architect, is considering an editorial
position on the SQL ANSI Standards Committee (X3H2). This is a great
opportunity to give DEC leverage in the SQL area. The tool that
Jim decides to use must have the capability noted above.
Possible to create a doctype to do this?
Thanx
Rose

Modifications to <mark> to allow symbols other than bars, and to
allow 2 levels of revision (and two sets of symbols) can't be done
in Version 1. We hope to add this in a future release.
