107.0. "DOCTYPE categories" by MARTY::FRIEDMAN () Fri Mar 13 1987 14:47
Please tell me if the following constitute the right
breakdown of doctypes and if the defintions are correct. Maybe
we can use these terms more consistently once they are defined.
STANDARD DOCTYPES
-----------------
Doctypes that will be part of DOCUMENT's external (customer) kits. Examples:
SOFTWARE
GENERAL
LETTER
MANUAL
OVERHEADS
LOCAL DOCTYPES
--------------
Doctypes that are created, supported, and used by a group outside the
DOCUMENT development group. Examples:
-Any of MR's special designs
-Any of ML's special designs
-Any of DECwest's special designs
-Any of ESD&P's special designs
-Any of Littleton's special designs
DEC/INTERNAL DOCTYPES
---------------------
Doctypes that are for 'standard' use within Corporate User Publications.
Examples:
LAYERED
HARDWARE
MEMO
T.R | Title | User | Personal Name | Date | Lines
