104.0. "<EXAMPLE_SEQUENCE>(argument) subtlety" by 38082::BOYACK (pithy...pithy...pithy) Fri Mar 13 1987 09:36

    I just noticed a "subtlety" with the argument to <EXAMPLE_SEQUENCE>.
    If I use no argument or (NOHEAD), a blank line is output between
    every occurence of <EXC> and <EXTEXT>; i.e., output is normal. If I
    give an argument, such as:

    <EXAMPLE_SEQUENCE>(Description)

    There is no blank line between the outputs for <EXC> and <EXTEXT>.
    To remedy this quaint behavior, I've changed all coding to include
    a blank line in every occurence of <EXC>, e.g.:

    <EXC>mumblefratz...

    <EXTEXT>ribbet krantz...

    not a subtlety. a bug that crept in. I think it may have something
    to do with the font -- does your doctype use the reverse print
    numbers or normal numbers?

    do you have any definitions for \numberedexample, \numberedexplain,
    and such in your LYNX DTP?

    if so, will you send them to me? thanks
