I just noticed a "subtlety" with the argument to <EXAMPLE_SEQUENCE>.
If I use no argument or (NOHEAD), a blank line is output between
every occurence of <EXC> and <EXTEXT>; i.e., output is normal. If I
give an argument, such as:
<EXAMPLE_SEQUENCE>(Description)
There is no blank line between the outputs for <EXC> and <EXTEXT>.
To remedy this quaint behavior, I've changed all coding to include
a blank line in every occurence of <EXC>, e.g.:
<EXC>mumblefratz...
<EXTEXT>ribbet krantz...

not a subtlety. a bug that crept in. I think it may have something
to do with the font -- does your doctype use the reverse print
numbers or normal numbers?
