    I have not been able to get LSE to recognize GNC files.  I did a
    SHOW LANGUAGES * within LSE, and SDML/GNC is not listed.  Apparently
    the LSE environment did not get updated on my system.
    
    I went back to the kit and extracted the KITINSTAL.COM and duplicated
    the command used to update the LSE environment.  I got the following
    warnings:
    
    %TPU-W-FILEOPENFAIL, error opening file SDMLLSE.ENV
    -LSE-W-OLDENVFILE, file version is incompatible with editor version
    
    I'm running LSE V1.3 and VMS V4.5A.  Do I need to be running T2.0
    of LSE?

	I updated LSE to T2.0 and then added SDML to the environment. It now works. I guess I answered my own question.

	Maybe thats a requirement for VMS V4.5A, but LSE V1.3-16 works fine under VMS V4.2 and DOCUMENT T1.0. -tl

	Shouldn't a mention of the required version of LSE go in the installation guide? Also, is DSRPLUS still required for the indexing software? If so, it should also be noted in the guide. Phyllis

	The LSE V2.0 FT kit is in: TLE::SYS$KITS:LSE020.A,.B ! Save set A and B TLE::SYS$KITS:LSE_V2_FT_UPDATE*.LN3 ! Doc set for V2.0 The SDC date for LSEDIT V2.0 is early Spring (April, I think)

	use3$:[sdml.bl8]. There is no separate file to get the LSE environment, it's in the installation kit
