I've got a customer considering Unidata for some IBM/COBOL/legacy applications to downsize to OpenVMS/Unidata. The previous information in here is fairly old. Anyone have any recent experience with Unidata? What was the scope of the conversion effort? How was the performance after the conversion? Did the application sustain the number of users as previous to the conversion? I listened to a marketing presentation on it today and parts of it sound pretty slick and intriguing and parts of it sounded pretty unreal (for lack of a more polite word :).
