Hi all,
Just a small line in a UNIX-newsletter news of this week:
>8. IBM PUTS DATABASE TECHNOLOGY ON HEWLETT-PACKARD COMPANY PLATFORM -
> - HP 9000 IS FIRST NON-IBM PLATFORM TO HAVE DB2
> - IBM and HP announced an agreement to make IBM's Database 2(a) (DB2)
> technology available on the HP 9000 platform.
So, IBM has (will have) both CICS and DB2 on HP. This implies that IBM sees a
need to port to non-IBM platforms. Some people in Digital must be blind!
