    Our customer has been writing an application in Clipper and been using
    Recital to run it on a VAX.  Well, big surprise, the performance
    stinks.  They are now asking me how to get this X-based application to
    RdB with as little pain as possible.  Are there any front ends or
    converters that will allow SQL statements to be imbedded in this code?
    Other divisions of the customer site are using Paradox with a SQL-link
    product to attach to the SQLserver using TCP/IP.  TCP/IP is very
    important since this is a DoD customer.
    
    I am a database neophite.  If there are any other avenues for type of
    information I am all ears.
