    One of our customers that is primarily a VAX shop is seriously
    considering purchasing an HP system because they are able to run the
    DataCom Ideal data base product.  This County government agency can
    obtain (for free) a large application package package which uses
    DataCom Ideal and is currently in production in another Agency at the
    County.  I have not been able to find ANYONE with information on
    DataCom Ideal.
    
    I need help with the following information:
    
        Does DataCom Ideal run on HP?  If so, how's the performance,
        reliablitiy etc?
    
        Has anyone converted DataCom Ideal to RDB?
    
        Any competitive information will be very helpful!
