We are competing against SYBASE at one of our old Rdb-sites. The SYBASE lobby
became quite strong and there's a new project coming up - we have to win this.
The customer requires the following functionality from us, I wonder SYBASE
fulfills this all, can anyboldy help us here ?
The application runs in client/server mode, the server is a VAX and the clients
might be VT100-type, PC's w/ MS-Windows and Workstations w/ Motif. They would
like one application to maintain and run it on all clients BUT using the GUI's
on PC and WS. I know, using RALLY, we can do this at least later and to a
certain degree. Also, the application will run in several plants, supporting
50 - 200 users so performance is an issue (RALLY/Rdb without ACMS ??)
Is this possible using the SYBASE tools ?

| Do also look into ACMS-DESKTOP with Rdb, without going the RALLY route.
This might help performance.
