Hal, this conference *is* restricted. Or did that change without
my knowledge? Of course, it may not be *sufficiently* restricted
to allow discussion of this topic, but...

Not true, Hal. I distinctly remember that I had to obtain access to
it by sending mail to a moderator, and asking for membership. That
was a few years back, however. I think it may have been Andrew Watson
who was the moderator at that time (?)

| Maybe Brian, but I don't recall that. There was also another conference
called DB_COMPETITIVE_HELP that might have been restricted (but I don't
recall that either).

| Well, there a few beings on the planet with a worse memory than mine,
but here are my blurred recollections...
This conference has never been members only. There used to be a
conference called something like DB_COMPETITIVE_HELP which was members
only. The moderator was Mike Booth. He was also the main writer - it
was more of a repository of competitive information than a place for
questions and discussions.
Andrew.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The NAS Integrated Products NAS 200/300/400 for VMS will be changed
this month. The announcement will occur Mid-July. The new content is
detailed in the Next note in a 132 column "NAS at a Glance".
Briefly:
----------------------------------------------
| Rdb/VMS RT is no longer licensed with VMS. |
----------------------------------------------
Rdb/VMS bits are still in the NAS 200 for VMS, but that does
not have the same value it had when Rdb was in VMS, so it is
no longer documented (but the kits have not changed so for now
the bits are still there)
Rdb/VMS license is now in NAS 300 and NAS 400 on VMS.
Rdb/VMS Bits will continue to be included in NAS 300 and NAS 400.
DECnet EN license is now in NAS 200 and NAS 300.
DECnet Full Function License is now in NAS 400.
New SPDs are expected to be available on July 17th.
