    Is Oracle V7.0 now shipping?
    
    Are there any new competitive summaries on-line, that refer to V7.0 and
    its differences relative to V6.0?
    
    I've just re-checked the NOVA:: stuff and there does not appear to be
    anything new in there.

	I've had casual association with a bid on which we're "teaming" with a consultant for an integration project. They've chosen ORACLE as the database and tools because they feel the customer wants a UNIX solution. They also have chosen Sequent because ORACLE V7 won't be available on ULTRIX in time. I asked the consultant when V7 will be available on Sequent. He said "Oracle promised it would be available by Jan of '93." Bruce

	Check #872, where the speculation was "in a year, maybe 2" (dated Feb 1991). Such a shame... Don
