1088.1 | what about the front end ? | KCOHUB::DAZOFF::DUNCAN | Gerry Duncan @KCO, 452-3445 | Wed Feb 19 1992 01:03 | 5 |
| Unless this is a batch application ... the more difficult part of
the migration is the {CICS | IMS | etc } front end. Just curious ..
how is your customer planning to handle this issue ?

1088.2 | Andersens foundaation... | FILTON::BIRCH | Please Mr Music, will you play? | Wed Feb 19 1992 15:33 | 9 |
| It will be handled by Andersen's Foundation product, which can produce
either CICS/BMS or ACMS/DECforms output.
I'm on this project too, so I hope Robert doesn't mind me butting in on
his note.

| I'd check with Andersen. I bet they've done this kind of thing before.
Also, Mass Mutual in Springfield, MA recently started a project to
convert IBM systems (not necessarily DB2) to VMS and Rdb.

| Well, for anyone who's interested, we found a reference site for DB2 to
Rdb conversion. I won't post the account's name in this file, but if
anyone needs to know, mail me and I'll mail you the relevant names.
Cheers
