Good morning,

I have created an application prototype using dBASE-IV/VMS. Briefly, the
application exists to allow a program manager to provide data behind a request
for resources that will be applied to a project within that program. The data
will be edit-checked, captured, and sent to various groups responsible for
responding to requests.

Before we make any decisions re: the next version, I need to determine

    What products, tools, etc. are out there (preferably Digital products)
    that support distributed databases and information access and
    dissemination, all on a global basis, and

    Which of those products (if any) I should use to augment or replace
    dBASE-IV/VMS.

I'm looking for some help or pointers to information re: our database products,
info dissemination products, implementation methods similar to dBASE (i.e.,
simple!).
