I am working on an RFP where we want to access an Oracle db on UNIX via
TCP/IP using the RdbAccess product. From previous notes, it appears
that I need SQL*Net also on the node where Oracle is.

Does this mean that I need to have Oracle on the VMS node also? If not,
how can I price SQL*Net, since we don't sell Oracle products anymore?

How does the customer's requirement of TCP/IP affect the solution?

Is this doable? My concerns are with the networking products, where I
    need Oracle and SQL*Net.

    Thanks for any help,
    Patti

It can be done. See the corresponding note and replys in the RdbAccess
for Oracle to see the details.
