Hello, I'm currently in competition against INFORMIX ON-LINE on Texas Instruments machines (don't smile). I need some performance features. I didn't see any on previous notes. The configuration must support 250 simultaneous users !!!!! Is Informix able to do this kind of things on a U*IX machine. Thanks for help. Jean-Marie

<<< Note 1066.0 by DURDUR::DA_SILVA >>> -< Performance figures on informix ON-line >- From a TPC perspective... TI doesn't publish TPC figures (either for TPC-A or TPC-B). There are TPC-A figures for Informix On-Line for AT&T/NCR on Unix (UNIX SVR) Bull on Unix (B.O.S.) HP on Unix (HP-UX) IBM on Unix (AIX) Sequent on Unix (DYNIX/ptx) Unisys on Unix (Open/OLTP) TPC-B figures for Informix On-Line for AT&T/NCR on Unix (UNIX SVR) Digital on SCO/UNIX, SCO/MPX Digital on Unix (Ultrix) DG on Unix (DG/UX) HP on Unix (HP-UX) IBM on Unix (AIX) MIPS on Unix (RISC/os) Olivetti on Unix (SVR) Sun on Unix (Sun DBE) Don't know if any of these would be of any help... |
