    HI.....  
    
    	I need to know where SYBASE stands with FIPS-127 validation.  I
    have a publication called "Validated processor List For Database
    Languages SQL" and I do not see SYbase anywhere.  Have they submitted
    anything for validation?
    
        I need to know for a competitive RFP I am working on... thanks...

	Lisa, Sorry for taking so long to answer, but I'm on the road and just saw your note. As far as I know, Sybase has not submitted anything for validation by NIST. My friends at Sybase suggest (without actually saying so) that their product will require a fair amount of work before they would be able to pass the NIST test suite in any significant sense.
