998.2 | Meaning of market share? | BROKE::HIGGS | SQL is a camel in disguise | Fri Sep 27 1991 17:51 | 1 |
| I presume the percentages mean on VMS systems only?
|
998.3 | VMS | TRCOA::MCMULLEN | Ken McMullen | Fri Sep 27 1991 23:11 | 2 |
| Those numbers are for VMS (would be meaningless any other way since Rdb
only runs on VMS). Those numbers are also 15 months old.

998.4 | June '91 numbers should be out | MBALDY::LANGSTON | The secret is strong ears. | Sat Sep 28 1991 00:08 | 6 |
| I know that CI released the numbers in June of '89 and June of '90. If they're
consistent, the '91 numbers should be out.
Is that in Art Caulfield's bailiwick?

BTW,
Does anyone know Rdb/VMS industry-cut/application-cut share in world-wide?
In other words,
Rdb/VMS licence xx,xxx,xxx (licences)
Process-CIM yy,yyy ( zz.z%)
LAB w,www ( pp.p%)
OA use aa,aaa ( bb.b %)
FA use cc,ccc ( dd.d %) and so on.
Thanks,
