| Try talking to the RdbAccess folks. The base code for RdbAccess for RMS
was designed to allow implementation of arbitrary data sources. The idea
was originally to let EIS implement access for various customized data
sources that a customer might have. I don't know what ever happened with
the idea, but if its still alive (for example, if they are documenting
how to do it) then perhaps you could propose building an RdbAccess for
Adabas for this customer!

| The next version of RdbAccess for RMS is planned to be split apart.
There will be a basic Non-SQL Data Server, an RMS/VSAM Driver, and
Driver Development Toolkit. The Driver Development Toolkit allows
you to build your own driver to access whatever data structures you
choose. You might be able to find someone to build you an Adabas
driver.
But for a more immediate solution -- why don't you suggest that the
user use Natural which can access both Rdb and Adabas (and DB2 and
Adabas on MVS).
